Abstract

Change is constant and adopting the change is the wise decision. The present society all around isencountering change; the progress is from traditional age to digital age. Computerized innovation ischanging governmental issues, organizations, economies and society, and in addition our everydaylives. Leaders have to identify these changes as opportunities and not treat them as threats. There arecertain Universal leadership characteristics which will remain constant. This paper talks about newleadership skills required in digitals age for different sectors (eg: Educational, industrial) withrespect to different regions. Post understanding the competencies required by a leader in digital agehow to build these competences is also studied. A famous quote made by Mr. Tom Peters statesManagement is about arranging and telling. Leadership is about nurturing and enhancing. As aleader for any changes the same has to be adopted and also the leader has to nurture his team. Ablend of all inclusive attributes with new age initiative won't just sail crosswise over effectivelyhowever will likewise help in building skills to receive future changes.
