What Is IMC? Integrated Marketing Communications

  1. R. Ganesh

Abstract

The marketing mix has four elements; Promotion is one of the elements. Therefore, a marketing communications (IMC) strategy that includes a combination of supporting tools can be an important part of the overall marketing strategy. Different promotional tools can make people aware of a company's product or service, make people understand the features and benefits of the product or service, and encourage them to purchase. With this in mind, this section will examine each of these media separately. We found that IMC services support the company's products and services by providing a clear, consistent and complementary message to changing customer needs. In short, we suggests that business leaders should consider the 6Ms (including marketing, accountability, information, media, finance, and measurement) when planning IMC plans. Integrated business communication is important for long-term success in business. How well a marketing campaign works depends a lot on this. It's easy to feel overwhelmed by all the information out there. That’s why we focus only on the key parts of business communication. In this article, we'll go over: What is IMC and why is it important? In today's fast-changing digital marketing environment, strategies can be divided into three main types: above-the-line (ATL), below-the-line (BTL), and through-the-line (TTL).These categories help marketers plan and execute their strategies based on their target audience and goals. A common question in marketing is what's the difference between "above the line," "below the line," and "through the line" marketing? Above the Line, or ATL marketing, refers to large-scale campaigns that aim to build brand awareness and reach a wide audience. Below the Line, or BTL marketing, is more targeted and smaller in scale, focusing on specific groups with clear goals and measurable returns on investment. Through the Line, as the name suggests, uses both ATL and BTL methods to create both broad awareness and targeted results. However, as technology and business have evolved, a new approach called TTL has emerged that combines ATL and BTL techniques. Sometimes a business needs to "grow" to produce measurable results. Even for the most popular brands, building brand awareness among a wide audience can be a difficult task. Online marketing skills are instructive when considering how some brands have become big names today. “Big success” in business
