Copyright Policy

This page explains who owns the copyright in articles published by MBA Journals, an imprint of Consortium e-Learning Network Pvt. Ltd. ("the publisher"), and what you may do with them.

In short: authors transfer copyright in their article to the publisher when they sign the Copyright Transfer and Declaration Form at submission. Readers may read, download and share articles with credit under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. Anything beyond that, such as commercial use or AI training, needs the publisher's written permission.

When an author submits a manuscript, they sign the Copyright Transfer and Declaration Form. By signing it, the author transfers copyright in the article to the publisher. The publisher then holds the exclusive right to reproduce and distribute the article in all forms, including print, electronic and online.

Authors are still credited as the authors of their work, and the moral right to be named as author is not affected. Authors remain responsible for ensuring that their article is original and that any third-party material in it is used with permission.

2. What readers may do

Published articles are made available to the public under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) licence. This public licence applies to articles that have been published, and it is not withdrawn once an article is published.

You may, under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0

  • Read and download the article
  • Share it, unchanged, with credit to the authors and the journal
  • Quote it in your own work, with a proper citation

You need prior written permission to

  • Use the article commercially, or sell or charge for access to it
  • Bulk-download, scrape or systematically harvest articles
  • Use articles to train, fine-tune or evaluate AI or machine-learning systems
  • Alter, translate or build on the article and redistribute the result

To ask for permission, including for a commercial licence, write to the publisher at info@mbajournals.in and say which article or journal you mean and how you want to use it.

3. What authors may do

  • Authors must not publish the same article elsewhere without the publisher's prior written permission, unless the version they publish is substantially changed from the article published here.
  • Authors and readers may freely share the article’s DOI or the link to it. The final published version may not be posted, deposited or republished elsewhere, including in repositories, without the publisher's prior written permission; other versions (submitted or accepted manuscript) likewise need the publisher’s written permission unless the publisher has agreed otherwise in writing for that article. See the Article Sharing Policy.
  • If you want to reuse your own article, for example in a book or thesis, ask the publisher first at info@mbajournals.in.

4. Third-party material

Copyright in figures, images or other material taken from other sources stays with their owners. Authors must obtain permission for such material before submission, as set out in the Author Guidelines.

5. The website itself

The MBA Journals name, logo, site design and software are not covered by the article licence. See our Terms and Conditions.
